Moving into a new city, new home

It’s been very busy weeks these past ones. I’ve been negotiating my new tenant contract, fixing things on the new house, checking on the storage house and searching for a truck to move my things to the new house.

Then actually moving to the new house. Opening 41 boxes with stuff and moving the furniture around, putting everything into place, cleaning up the new place before moving things in, fixing leaky faucets, more negotiating with the landlord for house repairs, calling service providers to get broadband connection and phone service, it hasn’t been easy.

My mum arrived with Pancha and now new home training must be done. With all this, my mind has been too busy to think on my projects and my blog.

It’s been a month now that I moved in and still there are house tasks that need completing and updating my new address with banks and other services. I’m almost through but once the main things got set, I left the minor details and other things for later like setting up the bookshelves and placing the books, installing the big drawing board, etc. so I can start enjoying life in the new city. I guess house work never ends.
