About Gabriel Saldaña

Gabriel Saldaña

Hi, I’m Gabriel Saldaña and this nethazard.net blog is where I write about free software, open source projects like Emacs and generally about web development and programming with occasional personal opinions on other subjects of my life.

I’m a web developer, focused on interaction design, that means making websites easy to use and web standards. I’ve worked with small and big clients in Mexico and the United States. Currently working as a freelance consultant and developer with more than 8 years of experience. Also, free and open source software evangelist, having spoken at several universities in Mexico and GNU/Linux open source events.

Also online editor of the ACM Crossroads magazine, webmaster at the GNU Project, and founder of the open source users group GSL-IEST.

Love music and extreme sports when not coding or debating about free and open source software.
